The ABRIDGE T-shirt is fictional band merch that I have used as a creativity-building exercise. It's not enough to have amazing and unique ideas. It's not enough to have incredible technical skills. To truly be amazing, artists need to combine both of these facets. As we all know, practice makes PROGRESS, and to progress as a graphic designer, I will be doing just that. 

By creating these projects for myself, I train my technical skills and creativity. As well as show future clients and employers that I am dedicated and put the work in to my craft. I want to be known as a truly talented artist, and the only way to get there is to start and never stop. This ABRIDGE t-shirt symbolises this; it is a single step in my ever-long journey as an artist and graphic designer. 

The centerpiece image is an image I took of an NYC building, which I then cut up and set in a collage with other images of bridges and sky, all in NYC. This technique is inspired by Kel Lauren, who is an amazing designer and a true icon in the space.
